Each quest requires a certain set of resources. You collect these resources by placing your workers on locations in the city of water deep. Where you place your workers you will block your opponents from using that location. Some locations on the board will give the player intrigue cards which allow the players to take actions that will have a direct effect on the opponents, for example you could get a card that allows you to take one resource of any type from your opponents. Top 10 board games of all time 1. Arkham horror the cad game Why is this my number one? I know this is crazy but when I first got this game I didn’t like it at all I thought that it was way too hard and I didn’t like that if you failed a scenario you don’t get to retry it. It took me a very long time to realise that that was the whole point of the game it wasn’t supposed to go well and you weren’t meant to win every time you were meant to experience the story that you created through failing scenarios and refusing to help characters. Once I got that into my head I started to enjoy the game so much more, I no longer felt sad about a failed scenario instead I was exited to sea how not doing well would change the game. This game is 100% my favourite game of all time I never see this game falling from my top 10 list this is a timeless classic that each and every tabletop gamer should experience. 2.
